TODAY IT IS 2009 AND I HAVE 582 THOUSAND MILES ON THE TRUCK AND THE RED TOP OPTIMA BATTERY.IT HAS BEEN 12 YEARS NOW AND THAT IS UNHEARD OF FOR A BATTERY TO LAST THAT LONG. I WAS A POLICE FLEET MANAGER FOR A LARGE CITY AND WE USED UP FACTORY BATTERIES RIGHT AND LEFT , WE SWITCHED TO THE OPTIMA BRANDS AND THEY OUTLASTED THE POLICE VEHICLES WE TRADED IN. I TALKED TO THE PERSON THAT DEVELOPED THE OPTIMA BATTERY , HE WAS A RETIRED NASA ENGINEER!
